1. Dairy Products
Lactose intolerance is the condition where a person cannot digest lactose, a sugar found in milk. As a result, they suffer from diarrhea, gas and bloating after consuming dairy products. This condition is usually harmless, but it can be uncomfortable.

2. Spicy Food
Even though spicy food have several benefits, they are proven to irritate the gut. Although they might not cause stomach ulcers or gastritis, they can increase the severity of symptoms in patients already suffering from such conditions.

3. Fried Food
Fried food cause contractions in the digestive tract, which can lead to indigestion. Such greasy food are low on fibre which leads to slow digestion of food and cause constipation. On the other hand, such fatty food can also speed up the bowel movement leading to diarrhea. In addition, consuming fried items makes you feel bloated leading to discomfort.

4. Caffeine
Having coffee in small amounts is good since they are full of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. The downside to coffee is that it’s highly acidic, leading to possible repercussions on the gut.
