Job Description: Sales Managers/RC

The incumbent will be responsible for:

Achievement of budgeted sales targets for the assigned region through leading, developing and motivating a team of Area Business Managers and thus through them the team of FOs and developing thrust brands, KOLs, Key customers, specific potential markets and ensuring effective implementation of marketing programs through action planning & monitoring


1) Achievement of targeted Business volumes
  1. Achievement of overall Monthly Sales Targets leading to achievement of Annual Sales Targets
  2. Achievement of Brand-wise Sales Targets esp. for Thrust Brands
  3. Ensuring achievement of targets by each FO territory and maximising productivity
  4. Improve business hygiene by reducing sales returns & expiries
  5. Effective forecasting to ensure smooth availability & distribution of products
  6. Co-ordination with business partners/ distribution
  7. Ensuring achievement of collection targets
2) Customer Development/ KOL Development
  1. Development of brand specific core customers & develop their business contributions
  2. Monitoring the efforts of field officers with specific focus on ensuring Dr Call Average of 12 and minimum 95% MCR coverage
  3. Supporting the implementation of strategic alliance programs for maximising ROI from KOLs through ensuring periodical visits as mandated by HO
  4. Development & sustenance of relationships of KOLs through personal visits
  5. Periodically track the contribution from KOLs and ensure interventions under the guidance of SMs in protecting & developing the business from KOLs
3) Customer Development/ KOL Development
  1. Development of Brands in the region through effective implementation of HO marketing programs apart from implementing local strategies
  2. Ensuring the selection of right customer, right product by implementing the customer targeting process
  3. Taking measures to address slow moving products
  4. Facilitating the performance across various therapies
4) Efective Implementation of Marketing Programs
  1. Ensuring effective implementation of marketing programs thereby develop key brands in each territory through a team of ABMs & FOs
  2. Periodically track the implementation of marketing programs and address the gaps if any
  3. Channelizing the effort of team members to achieve desired results
  4. Tracking the efforts of team members through FFR and ensuring compliance
  5. Implementation of local strategies under guidance of AGMs
