Cadila Young Leadership Program (CYLP)
Introduced in 2016, the Cadila Young Leadership Program (CYLP) is Cadila Pharma’s flagship management trainee program designed to infuse fresh talent, ideas and culture into the organization. With eyes filled with determination and minds ready to unravel the corporate world, these young leaders represent a diversified group of graduates from the top educational institutes of India.
Phases of the CYLP program
Learn: The trainees undergo a month-long induction and on-boarding which includes visits to the Dholka, Ankleshwar, Kadi and Hirapur plants. They are educated about different functions through systematic knowledge transfer sessions led by senior leadership and are also imparted skill based training in Six Sigma, MS Excel and Finance along with soft skills training. Curiosity and innovation is nurtured through collaborative learning.
Develop: As a part of accelerated learning, the graduates are trained in rotational projects that provide new perspectives and knowledge of the entire department. Additionally, these trainees are continually mentored by HODs for professional and career development.
Track: The program focuses on providing a fast-track, structured development that sustains high levels of performance, maximizes potential and utilizes a tailor-made development track that monitors the performance of each graduate. Currently, these young leaders are placed in Branded, Strategy, Finance, ISBU, CSBU, R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain and Corporate Communications and are continuously learning, striving and developing.
Success: Current young leaders have truly become the adopted talent of the company and are currently on a fast track career path towards success.
