November was a proud moment for us at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, as according to the TIPS-3 (The International Polycap Studies) polypill – commonly referred to as Polycap reduces events of cardiovascular deaths by nearly one – third. The findings were covered extensively across national and international media. We also marked the launch of our new initiative – Wake Up To Health Talks. With this initiative, we want to raise awareness about the leading healthcare challenges of the country while in conversation with top medical experts of the country. In our first episode, we talked to Dr Samyak Tiwari about mental challenges in youth. In our second episode, on the occasion of World Iron Deficiency Day, we talked to Dr Niru Kiran and Dr T S Easwari about the importance of awareness about iron deficiency in youth. This is an initiative to continue talking to the consumers about health and wellness and not giving up.
As we continue our fight with COVID virus, schools are still closed and children continue to be holed up in their homes. This month talked to the youngest members of our Cadila family to share their experiences during this pandemic and how they look at the new normal. Their determination and respect towards COVID warriors was a symbol of true resilience.

Polycap found to lower incidences of cardiovascular events by nearly one-third according to the The International Polycap Study – 3 (TIPS -3 ) conducted for a median of 4.6 years, over 9 countries, with 5713 patients having no previous known heart conditions.
