2015 : Dr Rajiv Modi, CMD of Indian multinational pharmaceutical company Cadila Pharmaceuticals met Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, September 10, 2015, Washington DC as a part of the CII CEOs delegation.
Elected in 2012, Tulsi Gabbard is the first Hindu member of Congress and also the first Samoan-American voting member of Congress. She is a Hawaii Army National Guard officer and she serves as the U.S. Representative for Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district.

Dr. Rajiv I. Modi joined the Board of Directors of Indian Multinational Pharmaceutical company Cadila Pharmaceuticals in 1991. Dr. Modi holds a Ph.D. in Biological Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. He also holds an M.Sc. in Biochemical Engineering from University College, London and a B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, India
