Cadila CMD Dr. Rajiv Modi delivering the Presidential Address at IIIM, Jammu

2015 : The 73rd Foundation Day of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) was celebrated on 26th September at the Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM) Jammu.  Dr. Rajiv I Modi, Chairman & Managing Director, Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd. was the guest of honour.

In his presidential remarks Dr. Rajiv Modi, Chairman and Managing Director, Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd., said that the path breaking work being undertaken by the teams at CSIR-IIIM is a true celebration of Indian science and Indian scientists. He also shared the valuable learnings of integrity, commitment and focused approach from his legendary father, Shri Indravadan Modi with the young scientists present there.

Dr. Rajiv I. Modi joined the Board of Directors of Indian Multinational Pharmaceutical company Cadila Pharmaceuticals in 1991. Dr. Modi holds a Ph.D. in Biological Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. He also holds an M.Sc. in Biochemical Engineering from University College, London and a B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, India.
