Kaka-Ba Hospital and Brahma Kumaris organize seminar on overcoming addictions, embracing positivity, and spirituality

Ankleshwar, 6^th February 2024: Kaka-Ba Hospital, the CSR arm of Cadila Pharmaceuticals ltd  in collaboration with  Brahma Kumaris, organized a seminar to encourage youngsters in districts and towns of south Gujarat to give up harmful addictions and embrace the path of spirituality and positivity.

The venue of the seminar on “Empowering through Spirituality: Beating Addiction and Boosting Productivity” was Maa Sharda Bhavan Auditorium in Ankleshwar.

Noted international motivational speaker from Brahma Kumaris, Sister Shivani, was the Keynote speaker for the seminar. Her profound wisdom and guidance resonated with the audience, mainly youngsters, inspiring them to embrace spirituality and positivity in their journey towards overcoming addiction.

Sister Shivani said, “Spirituality plays a crucial role in the pursuit of a fulfilling life. It not only helps in overcoming addictions but also helps cultivate a positive mindset, contributing to overall well-being. I am delighted with the enthusiasm of the participants, and I am confident this will be the beginning of a transformative journey for many. I also express my sincere gratitude to Cadila Pharmaceuticals for organizing this much-needed seminar.”

Dr. Bharat Champaneria, Trustee at Indrashil Kaka-Ba and Kala Budh Public Charitable Trust, said, “Addictions diminish the productivity of youths and affect their physical and mental health. They are also a drain on their finances. The objective of this seminar, as is the case with other activities we organise, is to empower youth with spirituality and positive thinking and help them to break free from addiction. I am thankful to Brahma Kumaris and especially Sister Shivani for being a part of this endeavour.”

The seminar drew an audience of over 600 people, mainly teenagers and youngsters from Ankleshwar and surrounding places. Bharuch district collector, education officers, VHP leaders, municipality chief, doctors specializing in the treatment of addiction disorders, and other prominent guests also joined the youth.
