Health and hope are at the heart of our CSR efforts. Through focused community programs, we turn this belief into meaningful action that creates lasting social impact.
Cadila Pharma has stood as a beacon of corporate compassion, where business excellence meets human empathy. Long before CSR became a statutory obligation, Cadila’s founders embraced it as a duty to give back to the society that nurtured its growth.

Inspired by our Founder Chairman, Indravadan Modi, we continue this legacy through the Indrashil Kaka-Ba and Kala Budh Public Charitable Trust, empowering communities with healthcare, education, environmental conservation, women empowerment, livelihood, financial literacy, and social inclusion. CSR at Cadila is woven into the company’s DNA. Guided by care, integrity, and social commitment, our CSR initiatives reach communities across Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Jammu & Kashmir, impacting over 2 lakh lives across 100+ villages.

All-inclusive Healthcare for All: Kaka-Ba Hospital
At the heart of Cadila’s healthcare outreach is Kaka-Ba Hospital, Hansot (Bharuch District, Gujarat), a charitable healthcare institution dedicated to serving the most underserved. Between April 2024 and March 2025, the hospital provided medical care to 48,000 patients and performed 6,700 surgeries, many of which were under the PM-JAY Ayushman Bharat scheme, corporate partnerships, and Cadila’s own CSR fund. Adding to its legacy of affordable excellence, Kaka-Ba inaugurated a CT Scan Centre in September 2024, with support from IRM Energy, and is soon expanding to offer MRI facilities, bridging critical diagnostic gaps for the people of South Gujarat.

Inspiring the Future with Career Growth and Sustainable Responsibility
To empower rural youth, career guidance seminars were conducted for secondary and higher secondary students in the Hansot block in collaboration with Indrashil University, helping them chart purposeful futures. Additionally, over 4,000 students visiting Indrashil Shantivan Tirth were sensitised on health, nutrition, and environmental sustainability through interactive educational sessions.

From Science to Spirituality: Indrashil- Shantivan Tirth
Built in the pious memory of Cadila Pharmaceuticals’ Founder, Shri Indravadan Modi, and his devout helpmeet, Smt. Shilaben Modi, the Sanatana Dharma Temple Complex has emerged as one of Gujarat’s most revered spiritual destinations. In addition to its scenic beauty and healing properties, it houses 84 replicas of India's divine temples, representing the country’s ancient and rich architectural and cultural heritage.
Indrashil Tirth and Shantivan together stand as living symbols of India’s spiritual continuity,
where science meets faith and devotion merges with duty. Here, the legacy of Shri Indravadan Modi and Smt. Shilaben Modi continues to inspire seekers, scientists, and society alike, illuminating the path of Dharma, Compassion, and Knowledge.
Our work gains strength through partnerships. Working alongside national and international partners, we create programs that are more effective, inclusive, and enduring for communities.
